Summer Internship

The Health Policy Summer Internship Program is a structured educational experience designed to introduce students to healthcare policy, health disparities, and community-based research.

Through interactive seminars, guest lectures, and a research project, interns will develop skills needed to analyze healthcare challenges and propose evidence-based policy solutions. Students will work collaboratively to investigate a healthcare issue affecting underserved communities and develop a policy brief addressing their findings. The program will culminate in the creation of a research poster and policy brief that will be shared with local free clinics, social service organizations, academic researchers, and elected representatives.
