Who are we?
The HealthLink Initiative is a Georgia-based student-led 501© (3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding healthcare access, health education, and community outreach for underserved populations.
We aim to engage with and empower the uninsured and underserved population, curate, distribute, and present easily accessible resource flyers, connect individuals with free clinics and essential healthcare services, raise awareness about physical, mental, and preventive health, and serve as a trusted community throughout Georgia.
Through the development of a mobile app showing the nearest available free clinics and outreach and volunteer events, we seek to make healthcare information approachable and understandable, ensuring that individuals feel confident in pursuing the care they deserve.

89% of Georgia counties are considered medically underserved.
This issue was only exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Rising costs of daily life and healthcare make it impossible for many to receive the care they need. Across zip codes, the average life expectancy can vary by almost 20 years.
